Model of the Month!

December 2002 - To start, some fossil plaques from Solid Space.  Cast in a hard, white material like a  resinous plaster-of-Paris, molded from some children's tile set, and just waiting to be painted. These were both done on Saturday, December the 7th, at the Silver Snail in downtown Toronto.  They are both done the same way - painted overall flat black, then dry-brushed in shades of grey for the stone, and brown for the fossilized bones.  A side note - the Archaeopteryx is a copy of one of the actual fossils  - the second one of this creature ever found.
